The Party Tree – Lore in LOTRO

After two years of hiatus, I am finally back on YouTube, and back with some lore!

In Hobbiton, there is an old oak tree decorated to celebrate a famous hobbit’s birthday.  Bilbo Baggins’ birthday party had fireworks from Gandalf, and gifts from Erebor.  As the party came to its end though, Bilbo gave a strange speech and disappeared. This scared many hobbits who demanded answers explaining what happened.  Little did the guests know how strange their peaceful lives would become…

I always learn something when making these videos. In the Scouring, The Party Tree kind of feels like a footnote. I was glad I could make a video that helped me realize the importance of this old tree.
