New Player Question

(no question this week due to the episode review)

Week In LOTRO

Aerindys

  • Continuing to quest in Rohan. Met the Middle Earth version of Karen in Cliving (Ordwacer) along with Romeo and Juliet (sort of?).
  • Came across some roleplaying hobbits in the shire who were “afraid” of my lore-master’s bear pet and wanted to make sure I had a proper permit for it.
  • Participated in the Durin’s Day event with several characters, most of which were WAY underleveled for the region and shenanigans ensued.

Celebathien

  • The Academy gathered up an Elf, Dwarf, and Man for a meeting with a Ranger in REDACTED. It was about REDACTED.
  • Khelevorn and Galebrilith helped a few Rohirrim in Dunland who are just as lazy as the hobbits we’ve helped do literally everything in the past. Except catching Rangers. They seem good at that.
  • Caesawerui (Cassowary, aka Geralt of Rivia) tanked for his High Elf friend and a Stout-axe in the Barrows. He can almost lay claim to the Undying title, which given his race and story is hilariously apt.

Gwaerendes

  • My Guardian is powering through the Epic Volume 1 (currently in the Misty Mountains) in hopes of getting to 50 so she can go to Moria soon.
  • Thursday I saw Erebor on a level 66 Hobbit hunter, a 44 Guardian, a level 42 Champion, a level 38 Beorning, and a level 31 Hunter. Oh, yeah, and Gwaerendes.
  • Warders of the Weald had a concert on Bywater Bridge with songs to celebrating the upcoming season – highlights included a version of Hotel California about the Forsaken Inn, “Orcbusters!” instead of Ghostbusters!, and Purple Brains instead of Purple Rain.

Sanswinda

  • My dwarf champion defended the Fords of Isen and made it into Stangard for warsteeds.
  • Made it into the Trollshaws with the epic on Arkenstone.
  • Ran the Inn of the Forsaken twice at 130, and got the whole journal, but the instance was bugged both times.

Teriadwyn

  • Axli and Friends progressed further in the epic but still don’t have warsteeds (sorry, Sans).
  • Joined the field trip this week and talked the group into tackling those Volume 1 Book 3 quests my way…
  • Other Champion did a little more work on the epic in Volume 1 and is running around in Annuminas.

Pineleaf

  • My main warden finished up Volume III. Then I helped a man dressed in purple dance with a dragon.
  • For the Field Trip, we completed Book 3 and started Book 4, then
  • For Friday Night Fights, we ran the Quays of Harlond. This is the first time I recall ever completing this instance at level.
