Week 16 roundup – U26, chickens and caveclaws

Been a busy week with the release of the develops letter, the first (and only) U26 Bullroarer and the newish buried treasure event.

Developers letter

For the full letter view https://www.lotro.com/en/game/articles/lotro-producers-letter-look-2020 or last weeks Lotro news. Since then we’ve gotten a few more details. Mostly that the upcoming challenge server will be a world pvp server instead of a battleground/arena style combat.

Update 26 planned for week 17

Last week we had our first preview of update 26. This will contain the new area and class changes to Runekeepers. It will also bring a fix to Fate (in short it makes any tactical class that has much fate do to big a critical heal or hit.

The area contains lots of ancient Rohirrim, goblin, beorning and hobbit areas. For a full view of the hobbit town vistit https://www.linawillow.org/home/2020/04/a-lost-hobbit-village-lotro-u26-mini-preview/

New carry-all bags

On the bullroarer there are new carry-all bags in the store. These are the same sizes, prices and can contain essences, housing items and instruments. While not as great as the task or crafting ingredients since the new items dont really stack as much as others. Some bands and people will be happy with them.

Buried chicken treasures

This weekend it’s the Buried treasure event. In addition to caveclaws its now also features chickens. A lot of hobnanigans items and pets have been turned over to the dwarves. For full rundown and new rewards. Check out Fibrojedi’s update guide.
