Critters journey [68] No Great plague or plaque for George

After the critters and Druedain recaptured Bhol-Rudh Wrinkles used Viznahks secret passage. But were quickly send away by the property guard. If their plan to stop the plague and safe Agarnaith had any hope of succeeding they would need some help.

George visited his old pal Celeborn. The beauty of Mordor made him nostalgic for the first age. But his wife said they would be busy the next weekend. Something about visiting relatives in Amon Lanc.

The mind of a hobbit goes through it’s stomach. Just think of a open roof super kitchen, said George. Easy rosters for disposing of waste and no need to clean the floor. 4 kitchen tables with cauldrons big enough to cook for 10 breakfasts at once. Heated by the lava that forged the One ring. As good as that sounded. Master Frodo was getting ready for a wedding where he would be the ringbearer again. They promised to help (kinda owe Sam and Frodo).

Staging the vault of Seregrost certainly peaked the interest of the dwarfs and humans. Thorin was packing for Erebor, but Aragorn promised to send help. They would just need to wait a bit to gather sufficient forces.

Plans were smitten and a frontal assault was ruled out. The underlings of Lhaereath seemed to not have much love for her. Her refusal to take a shower even got her the nickname The stained. Stains from corruptions and all sort of bodily fluids from her experiments were off putting to even a troll. If they could just get rid of her. The fortress would fall by itself.

Phase 1 would be the more dangerous part. Earning the trust of her without raising attention could be an issue. Lhaereath had no issues with an animal contingent. The mouth of Sauron might seen George with Radagast or Gandalf at some point. They had to disguise themselves as slaves.

It worked. Lhaereath thought they were on her side as Faeron and Rhadrog and made their way into the top floor. Unbeknownst to her that they were in league. Bearlee, Wrinkles, Talon and the lot got in place. Right as they unscrewed the bolts on the roster. Genevieve blared from the back, Lhaereath get out!

Lhaereath flies off, Genevieve runs with it tale between its legs down a crack in the wall. Faenor warns them not to follow. Tales of a Dragon and Dwarfs have spread though the plateau of Gorgoroth. For now the Court of Seregrost is safe again. A new great plague has been averted by Faenor and Rhadrog. Atleast that’s what they like you to believe. Another Critters tale has come to an end.

Long after the restoration of Agarnaith, raiders have told stories of hearing unhuman screams in Mordath. Some say it’s the ghost of King Vaskmun. Some believe it’s his wargoat. Some know it’s a different goat scheming for revenge.
