This week’s featured events:
Unfortunately the wonderful Radagast’s Pipe will soon sail into the west, but there will be one last chance to enjoy their music at this Saturday’s January OAKS on Laurelin. The band formed on the Russian server of Fornost in 2012, but moved to Landroval after those servers closed down. Since then they have hosted Music Over Arnor and the LOTRO-Mindon.ru Anniversary Party, given numerous concerts in a variety of styles, and performed at such events as the Weatherstock Concert Series, Winterstock III, Horrorfest, Rockfest, and the Blue Theatre Song Contest. Hear them play one last time on Laurelin this Saturday at 3pm EST/8pm GMT in the town square of the Oldfurlong neighborhood of the Shire homesteads.
2017 is the year of the rooster, so it seems only right that we start it out with a Free Range run. Join the Rooster Run on Landroval on Saturday at 3pm EST. As with all chicken play, it starts at Sandson’s Farm. Be sure to finish all the prerequisite The Sky is Falling and Flying the Coop quests in advance. Uncle Rooster has put together guides for participating chickens and escorts.

Request the honour of your presence at The Bear & Barrel Inn, 2 Highspires Street Brandfell on the 12th of February at 3:00 EST on Laurelin, for an evening of feasting, merriment and music from The Remediators. And coming to LOTRO with Update 19.3–a fix for the dreaded /say bug! This bug has bedeviled musicians, thespians, roleplayers, and event organizers of all sorts for years and all we’ve been able to offer up until now is a workaround. Now not only will the bug be squashed, the range will expand from 15 meters to 30. This is enormous. Without the persistence of Lina and Zed I’m not sure if this fix would have ever come. Thank you to them, everyone who has reported this bug, and of course the LOTRO team who fixed this.
