The Knights of the White Lady celebrate their 9 year anniversary with music, fireworks, dancing, food, drink, and a pride parade through Bree-town for the 2016 Festival of the White Lady. The after party at the KWL kinhouse (1 High Road, Highdore neighborhood, Bree homesteads) will feature the music of the Remediators and Heartwood.

Shirefest takes over the pillars south of Scary June 24th-26th. Crickhollow’s biggest annual event is set to welcome 28 bands over 3 days. Bands play from 2pm-9pm EDT at the pillars before weekly Bread & Jam, which will move to the Scary Town Square during the festival. Bread & Jam will run from 9pm until the wee hours. Performances will be held from noon to midnight on Saturday. The final day kicks off with Elevenses at the Plough and Stars in Brockenborings. In a slight schedule change, the music will move back to the pillars at noon and run through 9pm. For more details, please visit the Crickhollow Music website.
There will also be two great events on Laurelin next weekend. The summer poetry competition will take place on June 25th at 2:30pm EDT/19:30 BST. The Odd Socks party comes to the Methel Stage in Bywater on June 26th, also at 2:30pm EDT/19:30 BST. This mysterious event asks guests to come in disguise (in other words, in the form of an unknown alt) and share a song, poem, or story. Everyone will reveal themselves at the end of the night, but other folk have the opportunity to guess who the mystery sock is before they reveal themselves with a main character hidden behind the stage.
Festival time:
The Spring festival ends on June 21st, so make sure you spend those leaves and “take care of” those shrews before the fest disappears.
