It would be nice for the people that live in the EU.
It might be nice, but I’m much more interested in Turbine being up-front and honest.
This just made one more time where they weren’t.
I don’t care so much where the data comes from or where it is routed through… What is important to my game play, is that the poor quality issues are addressed. I have experienced all the game issues such as log outs, lag, lag spikes. I was expecting an increase in quality after the data center move… I do still expect that and I don’t mind waiting for Turbine to test and improve the system.
Would be nice. All other MMO’s I play have datacenters in Europe so I have there 3-4 times better latency then in Lotro.
What’s the bet that nearly every ‘Meh’/’No’ vote is from someone who isn’t in Europe? I’m not saying that no Americans/other non-Europeans voted for ‘Yes’, but if a European had come up with this poll, I’m pretty sure that there wouldn’t be that rather biased ‘Meh’ option.
I agree: I’d like a better way to say, “I play on a NA server, so it doesn’t really affect me, but it sounds like it would benefit EU players.”
