The Party in the Park returns to Crickhollow on February 27th! Come to the park across from the Bree jail for music from Misty Mountain Hobbs, Travelling Bilberries, Dulcet Tones, and DisEnchanted. LOTRO Mindon was founded on February 27, 2012. They will celebrate their 4 year anniversary with a special concert at the Stocktower in the Shire on the Landroval server at noon EST/20:00 Moscow time. The Russian bands The Hope, Polnolunie, and Radagast’s Pipe will perform. For more information, visit their Russian language forums.

Two big events are coming up on the weekend of March 19-20. The Day on the Greenfields Music Festival returns to Landroval that Saturday and Sunday from noon-midnight each day, with a special three hour block of Lord of the Rings specific music from 6pm-9pm on Saturday. Slots filled up swiftly and nearly 2 dozen bands are scheduled to perform.
Crickhollow’s Second Breakfast will host their 6th annual Bullroarer Took Day Pub Crawl on Sunday the 20th. This time it won’t just be drinking and music–though there will be plenty of both to go around–they’ll be holding a different contest at every pub. They’ve partnered with Gwinlynn to hold a special costume competition and this will be followed by a brew-a-thon, pub trivia, and a scavenger hunt. Elevenses will end at noon and the group will then head to Hobbiton’s Ivy Bush and hit every pub in the Shire, ending at Bywater’s Green Dragon Inn for a closing party. Look for more details soon.
