Yesterday, LOTRO posted a video on their official YouTube channel of the lore discussion that Senior World Builder Chris Pierson had with Tolkien scholars Dr. Corey Olsen (President of Mythgard Institute) and Dr. Michael Drout (Professor of English at Wheaton College). Originally streamed live earlier this month, the discussion centers around the history of Gondor, but includes some additional topics and is well worth a listen.

Very enjoyable conversation. I wish I knew my M.E. history well enough to keep up with all the references made. I was fairly solid for about 80% of it, but some of it was foreign to me….. which just made me want to go read it all again!!
Three excellent minds come together to talk about what we love. Sometimes I feel a little odd about being an adult who loves gaming. It makes me feel better when I see these three professionals talk about the game. Like being an adult gamer is okay 🙂
