The biggest gawfas and tears I ever enjoyed where in PvMP groups.
Oh for sure 🙂 And some of the best in-game friends made, too.
Hmm instances is a bit too general for me. I really love 3 mans but I’m not quite fond of anything bigger, so I voted skirmishes heh.
Generally I like stuff where you can chose your own party size.
Can I vote for Kinchat? 🙂
Only recently started to get into instances, quite enjoyed a few skirmishes as well.
Yeah, I voted Instances, but was looking for raids. And I also love all the Epic story instances for groups so I was torn as which to pick.
I was enjoing lotro as a mainly solo experience, when I happened upon /GLFF when i got to Moria about the time RoR launched. It transformed the game for me, it was always cool to be in M.E. and enjoy the stories but suddenly I was attacking a huge turtle, the Watcher in the Water. I remember being so nervous before my first raid then. There was such an active pick up group culture back then , even on little Elendilmir. It really got me hooked on the game.
Sadly most of that is gone now and bar a month or two of First age action is Ost Dunhoth recently, I can’t remember the last group I enjoyed that way. Real shame in my eyes. So I still enjoy the solo experience, but I only dabble. I cannot bring myself to do the BB grind on another character, Hopefully I have enough stars of merit to just buy them the Shiny stuff.
I want to be hopeful that these new instances with U16 will bring back the pick up group culture, but it remains to be seen.
