One of my personal issues with the Helm’s Deep expansion has now been resolved. Players can now buy Helm’s Deep expansion codes through the LOTRO Market. This is great for players who want to gift the expansion to a friend. While you could call support before and have them apply the code to your fiends account, this is a much easier way to handle things. The same checkout deals are available here as well. You can even get the expansion for yourself and your friend one of the deals because the codes are separate. A big thanks to Turbine for this change.
This just makes me want to have a lot of money, find someone who I know who plays lotro and doesn’t have any expansions, and just buy them all and wait till they notice.
It would be a lot of fun to do that!
