Sadly, I don’t have anything really wise to say this week – Mysteri threw a snowball at my head on the snowball battle field last week, entered my cranium via ear canal, melted, and refroze around my hobbity brain. The snowball, not Mysteri.

As for any personal LotRO-related goals, hmmm…

    1) Get my champion to 75, Lore-Master to at least 50, if not also capped. Would also love to get an Arkenstone character to 75, but will certainly continue all fun Academy activities first and foremost.

    2) Uh, have…fun? Yeh, that sounds good.

Thanks for entertaining and informing on LotRO the past year – it’s been a ton of fun meeting enthusiastic gamers, and being able to be involved in the helpful community. Cheers! πŸ™‚

    Hey there Zyngor,

Sorry about the snow ball, but u did turn ur head right at the last minute… otherwise it would have hit u in the nose πŸ˜›

It has been a year full of ups and downs both in and out of game and I look forward to playing the game with you all this year.

Have a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.

    Have fun

Glad I found you guys in 2011, and best wishes to you all in the upcoming year!

I wouldn’t fancy myself an expert in LI’s, since I still think there is much to know, even being near level cap. However, I do like your “guest host” idea. You may not even get an “expert” in anything particular, but what you will get is a different take on things like zones, crafting, kinships, virtues, instances, skirmishes, etc. Really just about anything. It may spark up some new ideas or things to try in-game.

Keep up the hard work and I look forward to tuning you in each week!

Hail and well met Academy kin and listeners! Happy New Year! Even though I did not get to listen to all episodes last year, thank you for doing what you do! Job well done!
As for me I had three goals for Lotro this year. I say “had” because I already crossed one off my list! It was getting the Undying title on a toon. As of Jan. 2nd, with the help of Quiggin, my cheesy hobbit Iberico made level 20 without dying! My other two goals in game are to host a party with my main on Landroval and to compose my own in game song! Hope everyone has fun this year and good luck on your goals!

  5. I am SO glad to hear someone else died in Frostbluff, too. When I died on my little LM the very first thing I thought was ‘wow, I bet Mysteri hasn’t even died here’. Thanks for making my day, Mysteri, my sister in silly deaths! πŸ™‚

    Hey there Ranni,

Glad I made ur day. Yeah I have died twice at Frostbluff and am proud of it… πŸ˜€ I mean you have to die at least once everywhere don’t you?

Have a great year full of new and interesting deaths πŸ™‚

    Most of all…

    Have fun

    My LotRO goals for 2013.
As a new player I’m going to keep it simple.
    1) Get my main to lvl 75 at least
    2) Get my Champion to 65.
    3) Get my other crafting alts to 20 & riding skill.
    4) Get level-appropriate expansions, hopefully on sale (either in the store or on Steam.)
    5) Try NOT to drop off the face of Middle Earth when the Dragonbotn expansion comes out on PC for Skyrim.
