It’s time to celebrate 10 years of LOTRO! The Anniversary festival will be back on April 20th, as will Crickhollow’s Muddy Foot Day, an annual celebration of pipe-weed featuring music from five of the finest bands on the server. The HOPE will celebrate the anniversary on April 15th with the Magical Mystery Tour through Middle-earth on Landroval.
A new band will also be debuting Friday on Sirannon: Les Inconnus de Bree Sud perform at the Celondim Pavillion at 3pm EDT. Please note that the monthly Department of Harmony & Song concert has been postponed until April 23rd due to the Easter holiday.

Description: A free in-depth reading of the trilogy with the Tolkien Professor which will bring in other works that affected the story and considers new angles and aspects. Today we’ll feature again feature some upcoming events on Crickhollow. The Great Race Across Middle-earth, a war-steed race from Michel Delving to the Black Gate is coming up on April 23rd at 1pm. It will be a long race with many dangers, but the prizes will include 3000 gold and a pile of LOTRO Points. Please visit the LOTRO Forums for more details.
Dawning Eclipse will celebrate their 10 year kin anniversary with a fashion show competition and a riddle race at 9pm on May 6th in the new scholar’s hall in Bree. More details soon.
Finally, a major announcement: Shirefest IV will be taking place June 16-18 at the Methel-stage. Band signup will open on the Crickhollow Music website at 4pm EDT/9pm BST on April 21st.
