Today Turbine released another trailer for Helm’s Deep.
In this trailer we see a few more glimpses at Big Battles including orcs coming onto the wall from ladders. This is really the only new stuff to come from the trailer. As a side note, Turbine is getting much better at creating exciting trailers.

BUT, I can all ready hear the backlash coming on this as they tied it with the Hobbit….. all the screams of Warner Brothers Ruining LOTRO… 🙂
Yeah but I feel like those were already going on when they announced the upgrade. This trailer just brings more attention to it.
People on the forums have actually been crying out ever since they started working on the Hobbit movies for Turbine to utilize the connection for LOTRO’s benefit.
But If I was WB I’d want to link all of my LOTRO stuff with the movie stuff. It seems reasonable for them to want to do that.
Ahh free ticket? Isn’t that US only? I wish they would advertise with more clarity. Trailer was too movieish for me and lacked LOTRO flavour. But never mind I will still be at HD, either with saved vip or as a “birthday present” 🙂
