The One Ring Second Edition Announced By Cubicle 7

The One Ring – The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying Game brings players further into the Twilight of the Third Age and closer to the events of the War of the Ring. It has been almost 25 years since the defeat of Smaug the Terrible and the hope that came with the death of the Dragon has dwindled. A Shadow grows in the East and the Dark Lord’s forces are mustering their strength.  The Steward of Gondor has need of heroes, and great deeds await those who would answer the call.

The second edition of the game will feature all new art, as well as stunning new maps created by renowned cartographer Jared Blando. Players can choose from 11 Cultures and 6 Callings from across Middle-earth to create their Company and their journeys will see them play a crucial role in the events leading up to The War of the Ring. This edition also features a set of updated and streamlined rules, developed from years of players’ feedback and design development, and implemented by renowned designer Francesco Nepitello.

 

The One Ring – The Lord of the Rings™  Roleplaying Game will launch between Q4 2019 and Q1 2020 with the core rules and Starter Set. Below you can see the products currently in development.

The Laughter of Dragons Coming To One Ring RPG

 

Cubicle 7 will release The Laughter of Dragons, an adventure book for The One Ring role playing game in March.

There has been peace in Wilderland since the death of Smaug and the defeat of the Dark Lord, but many of the Free Folks of the North still remember the terror that the laughter of a dragon foretold. Peace does not mean quiet however, as a conspiracy unfolds that may once again lead to war. Players journey to the Kingdom of Bard the Dragonslayer, visit the rebuilt Lake-town and the halls of the King under the Mountain. There they assist Balin, son of Fundin as he attempts to foil the conspiracy.

 

 

The One Ring – Laughter of Dragons includes six interconnected adventures which can be played alone or as a campaign that takes place over several years. This release is enhanced when used with The One Ring – Erebor The Lonely Mountain location guide. MSRP is $39.99.

Moria Coming To The One Ring And Adventures In Middle-earth RPG

 

That gates of Moria are about to open up for The One Ring & Adventures In Middle-earth RPG.

 

 

‘Moria’ is the first release set to come to both games at the same time, arriving with support for both the original standalone The One Ring RPG and Adventures in Middle-earth, which is used as a setting with Dungeons & Dragons’ fifth edition ruleset. Cubicle 7 previously adapted existing One Ring supplements for Adventures in Middle-earth.
