LOTRO Academy: 53 – Steamy Additions

LOTRO Academy
In this Off-Topic episode, Myst is missed and Branick, Rolfkrage, and Pineleaf welcome the influx of new LOTRO players from Steam, discuss the wonders of Weatherstock (forever), and explain the oft-confusing process of purchasing the new Steam Starter Pack and applying it to a turbine account. Thanks for listening!

  1. Hey there guys.

Great episode and yeah never think I am not around. That is part of my Mysteri lol.

Thanx for the nice comments as well Rolf but really the show is a team effort so we are all just wonderfully dedicated people who love sharing the awesomeness that is LotRO with others.

I would just like to add that Pineleaf’s skirmish manuals are the best. I have used them often and also if you are planning a trip to North Cotton Farms, don’t go in blind. Check out Pineleaf’s map. It helped me heaps when I was first going up that way.

Steam horse – What could be better… hmmm… maybe a horse that breathes fire instead of steam? Oh that’s right, that would be a dragon.

Anyway, great show guys and I will catch you all ingame at some point.

    Have fun

Great episode – all my steeds are super jealous that they have not learned how to blow steam out of their nostrils, but they still enjoy the company of vaporous-enhanced company.

I definitely echo the congratulations to both Ketani and Elb on their accomplishment…if you are too anxious to hear the news yourself, simply reading the comments to that show should give it away. Good times…I bet it made Saruman jealous!

The technical problem with your podcast is where the hell is KRORAIN!!!!!!! The dude just dropped of the face of the planet! What happened to him? I very much enjoyed him on the show.

As mentioned in a previous episode, Krorain is taking some time off from the show due to a lack of time with work, school, and other aspects of his life. He’s still around the community, still plays LOTRO, and was on TeamSpeak for Wednesday Night LOTRO a couple weeks ago. Perhaps in the future he will have more time. He knows he’s welcome back on the show should he find the time.
