New Player Question
Not so much a question, but can we discuss the journeyman riding skill a little more in depth here for the poor souls (like myself) who have not purchased this glorious thing yet? 🙂
Week In LOTRO
Aerindys
- Went festivaling and ran through the maze as a bear because why not
- Got through the Volume 2, Book 9, Chapter 8 instance and got some pretty great screenshots
- Got into some shenanigans with crows and orcs in Mirkwood, including a glitch with a crow getting stuck in a tree
Celebathien
- Celebathien has a goat and an elk. Ride on, Asfaloth.
- Glompla collected hats and the Lonely Mountain fiddle. Also got plastered and passed out in the Bird and Baby cellar with the group. Decided that her surname is Knotwise-Took and her older sister should be Chlodeswinthe Knotwise-Took (a future Warden, obvs)
- Khelevorn continued drinking and festivaling and discovered that the local wildlife are alcoholics. Or zombies. Listened to wild stories about Bilbo.
Gwaerendes
- Gwaerendes: deliveries, dailies, and drinking
- Zzott: has become a well-rounded character – initiations, dances, & an important emote
- Salvija: my Hobbit hunter now has her first LI thanks to the Academy Field Trip
Sanswinda
- Started the Stout-axe intro with Maven for her first time through it.
- Ran lots of festival quests and got all the dances for my Stout-axe guardian Fallafell.
- Helped a baby warg get some speed and a good Gram’s map.
Teriadwyn
- Prancerella did some Spring Festival questing and joined the Inn League, which ended in being passed out on the floor of the Bird and Baby.
- Took a lower-level hunter alt through Ale Association questing.
- Cenryt the Lore-master did the Bilbo’s Birthday quest and reached level 40.
Pineleaf
- My Anor warden was once again allowed to enter Harwick. There I also learned what happens if you don’t do the merchant quest before finishing up On Notice. I also helped Bingo gain a horse and finished up my questing in the Wold.
- My burglar listened to a foretelling from a Soothsayer.
- For Friday Night Fights, we ran The Harrowing of Morgul with a Warden, Guardian, and Hunter at 130. We then ran Deep-Barrow at 125. The Harrowing was the easier run despite being five levels higher.
