A Critters Journey [11] – What’s my age again?

All a little different this week. More background that adds a little thought to this weeks comic.

The afterlife of an NPCmemorial

Most of the time during  your travels you know where you are and where you will end up. How different people remember the travels in between. At the time of this episode the party was leaving Bree and heading into the Lone lands. Nearly every one will go this way when they reach their late 10’s. But when i asked a few players what part of this piece of Middle-earth they remembered fondly there. Plenty of answers but none really popped. The yellow tree, the giant spider in the old castle, Bree homestead and for me the little bounder constable Bolger small fellowship quest that was a complete pain during lotro beta (normal npc morale vs small fellowship signatures) [/feeling old]. Figuring out what little nostalgic moment to use for this weeks episode the Forsaken inn quest (where you need to look for the missing supply cart) was a good overall 2nd mention. Nothing high brow or tales that a wizard will find in the 5th age library in Barad Delving. But a nice little heartfelt story about old acquaintances that stopped to remember the poor old NPC. Turns out it’s only the quest people remember.

ScreenShot00535Curious yet?

What is your quest that you love more then most give it credit in the grand lotro world?

It’s not what you think: lotro wiki quest page

In remembrance for all those innocent NPC victims of our travels in Lotro.

  1. For me it was exciting when you first got to meet Strider and work out who he is!
