Hey guys, wanted to come and comment on your show, its great.. been playing lotro since a few months after launch, and even tho i have been playing for years i still learn a thing or two from your podcast! Keep up the awesome work.
As a side comment, i just recently decided to buy Dragon Age Origins (recent internet outage prompted me to buy an offline game) i decided to search iTunes for podcasts on DA and i found one… and to my surprise i hear a familiar voice! Its Branick in my DA Podcast! another great show! thanks for all you do!
Great podcast as always. One social deed you might have missed is if you eat enough of cooked vegetable items like Fried Mushrooms, Cooked Carrots, etc., you’ll finish the deed and get the title, Vegetarian.
A good way to finish the Inn League Challenge where you drink 23 unique ales and wines and to up your Inn League reputation, is to wait until a Festival is going and the Inn League members are out for the delivery quests. Grab all the delivery quests at once (so you know where to go), travel all over Middle Earth stopping at every pub and vintner and buy 10 of each named brew or wine. Don’t worry about delivering them, this is just a collection run. When you’re done, drink one of everything, that should get you most or all of the 23 unique drinks for the Inn League Challenge. Every day after, grab a few of the delivery quests and since you now have extras of all the drinks in your bags, you can deliver without needing to run back and forth between locations as often and you’ll quickly increase your Inn League reputation.
Thanx for you comments guys. 🙂
@Elahndria – so glad you listen to the show and I sympathise with the internet outage. I was without internet myself for a couple of days this week. I found myself thinking “I will just play LotRO now” and then I remembered that I needed the internet. I have been playing DA for well over a year now and I find it to be great, so great, I took up modding for it. 😀
@Inn League Teetotaler – You have to love your vegies. I didn’t know about the food deed and now have an extra reason to eat. Honestly, I know you get bonuses etc from the food, but I still haven’t quite worked it all out. When I am going into a big fight, I just eat and drink anything I can and see if I live longer:) Thanx to my friend Calddir, I have finished my ale drinking frenzy 🙂 Honestly, without Calddir, I would never get to Rivendell at all since I haven’t been in game except for the Inn League stuff. I must be able to go there soon though. Well fingers crossed anyway.
Have fun
Hey guys. Just listened to your deeds show and wanted to let you know of one slightly obscure but very useful deed reward. For every 20 or so deeds you complete in the game, you open up the ability to carry one more quest in your quest log. If you are like me, your quest log is often full, so the ability to carry 50 or 60 quests at higher levels instead of 30 or 40 can make a big difference in questing efficiently. Your quest max is listed at the top of your quest log so you can watch it grow! Fare thee well in middle earth! – Braag
Thanks Braag. 🙂 That’s a very nice tip so we decided to include it on the next episode. Also, I corrected your comment above, so no worries. 🙂
