1. Those saying that its going to be released in 2016 – what’s that based on, other than a belief in Turbine’s inability to keep to a deadline?

      1. That’s true – although I’d expected the readership of LOTRO Players to be rather more aware of Turbine’s plans than the typical World chat commenter.

2. I voted December and I think I am optimist here 🙂 But better wait longer then get poorly made, unfinished content.

3. Should be next update iirc? Update 17. So expected for end of fall, I would say November if all goes smooth ;D

4. I know their schedule but are speculating the delays/complications in the world transfer process and HW updates will impact this.. 😥

   1. Aye, I was initially worried about that too… but Vyvyanne posted on Monday here: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?&postid=7449265#post7449265 saying that:

      ‘U17 is not reliant on the new hardware. We expect to have it release before the hardware work is complete.’

      Which was preceded by…

      ‘We will be reopening transfers between remaining worlds after we are on the new hardware. We expect this work to be done towards the end of the Fall.’

      Which suggests that November/December is the likely timeline for U17’s release, even considering the delays in the transfers/new hardware. 🙂
