A lost audio recording of a 1958 speech given by J. R. R. Tolkien and a poem within the speech has been found by René van Rossenberg who has partnered with Middle-earth Network to restore the recording from a magnetic tape.

This is a huge deal to hear the professor’s actual words about the hobbit. Just astounding.
I’m not into the new world order like it sounds like Alex Jones is but he does have some valid points about industrialization destroying the earth. I felt that message most in The Two Towers.
Two little points I noticed in this clip. 1) John DeBartolo had a LOTRO shirt on (applause). 2) They showed the Middle Earth map of the game. I might have missed more as I was brushing my teeth at the time.
