I suspected they’d do something festive for War-steeds, but it sounds like an awful lot of work! 160 daily quests to reach Tier 3? Thankfully the holidays do provide plenty of time off… Do we know if these cosmetics can be dyed?
It’s 120 quests, with a maximum of 14 per day if you do them all. At that rate it takes about 7 or 8 days to complete the T3 deed, but the Yule Festival is very time restricted this year so you have to finish that before January 2.
Yes, the war-steed cosmetics can be dyed and dye quite beautifully.
I prefer Ultima Online’s S.O.P. of simply giving players holiday gifts. They save questing (killing “seasonal” boss monsters) for Halloween and Thanksgiving. No Fed-Ex quests or pie eating contests. Nope….just mean, nasty monsters to kill. Dang it – we’re digital warriors after all 🙂 Thanks, Sig, for the links to more gorgeous screen shots…..though that one black leather war steed outfit with silver studs is just a tad kinky 😉
