    Great episode all!
I wanted to add a few words about Burgs and Captains being able to do more then what was talked about. But you did offer enough about them that I can let that go for another time. I will make a few comments on Rune Keepers however…
RK’s do have a skill that will “swing there atunement” from one sind to the other, it is called Steady Hands. It also will let the RK use skills for 15 sec with no power cost. It is a skill that needs to be trait-ed, but is one that is IMO very useful and needed. With it a RK can go full dps, but when needed to heal (solo or group) can hit that skill and be in full heal mode. Or, can start out healing, and (more so in a group) when the group has the mob or mobs under control, can switch to dps to finish them off.
They also have skills that will protect there group from certain forms of attack, like “do Not fall to Flame/lightning/frost”. And also a in combat rez that they can place on a member of the group that will auto rez them during combat should they die called “Do Not Fall this Day”
Hope this helps a bit with understanding RK’s better.
Keep up the great pod cast!

  3. Just found your podcast this week, started listening to a few of them. Only been in Lothro for about 2 months really enjoying your insights into the game.

  4. Farylir – Agreed, another awesome episode indeed! And yeh, here’s to hoping for another quest pack review soon – I’m sure it’s probably a case with possibly more busy schedules and whatnot heading into another season, since those episodes usually have them playing around in the zone a bit before to get all their research done. 🙂

Findeladan – Thanks for the extra RK advice. I have a pair of RKs myself, although I mostly play solo. Hence, I don’t end up using most of those skills myself, but it’s definitely good to have tips about ’em (should I ever wander into a group situation). Another reason I often forget about Steady Hands is the 5m CD (just as I do with many skills with longer cooldowns).

Ozga – Thanks, I’m sure they always love and appreciate new listeners. I hope you are picking up tips and advice to further enjoy your experience with LotRO. All the best!

We love and appreciate all our listeners Zyngor. 🙂 Welcome to LOTRO Ozga, and thanks for the Rune-keeper information Findeladan.

Personally, I treat skills with cooldowns longer than ~2 minutes as emergency skills. I could use them way more often than I do, but I usually keep them in reserve in case I get in over my head or for bosses, encounters, elites, and the like.
