Week In Gaming
Celebathien
- Got licked by a huge toad on Grrlz. Also fought an ukhrash with a knife. I didn’t have a knife, it did.
- Got some balrog backstory on Tuesday night. IT HAD A NAME.
- Began the new festival in ESO because a.) my little Imperial needs money and levels, b.) my little Imperial needs to be able to do writs at level 10, and c.) momma needs a new set of soulfire dragon illusion fragments (I made one at the Jester’s Festival and it’s going to become pretty golden skin, so I’ll need another to fly around as a pet).
Gwaerendes
- Gwaerendes, with KWL and knowledgeable allies, completed the Hiddenhoard raid, and got some new titles and a mount. Then completed Azanulbizar deeds the next day to get a new goat. Still need one more goat.
- That went better than the last 30 minutes of Grrlz. The Den of Pughlak was a bit too trippy, first time in. Next time…
- In ESO, my main spent lots of time being a Fool on Purpose, then writs, writs, and more writs, and a bit of Crafting Survey collecting.
Sanswinda
- I listened to a dreaming dwarf in Gundabad.
- I reached level 30 as a pugilist in FFXIV.
- I went festivaling and crafting survey hunting in ESO. My inventory is much happier now and I have a few more CP.
Teriadwyn
- Dipped a toe into the T2 raid, promptly got it cut off a bunch of times… Accomplished some more story stuff on Tuesday, and got to use Teri’s new fishslap emote. Also got a fair amount of edible fish out of puddles in the Stonejaws.
- Did some story stuff in ESO, too, and am now in Dune in Reaper’s March.
- Contemplating the effectiveness of my most recent Craft the World build (Temple of 4 Elements) and whether I want to scrap it and start over.
Pineleaf
- My Crickhollow brawler learned how to use a war steed. This went about as well as you would think.
- Since I don’t feel like slogging through Rohan with a brawler for now, I decided to Valar my Landroval brawler to 130. I chose Landroval, since that is the server where I expect to play with other players. For Friday Night Fights, my brawler joined the group for the Stairs and the Fornost Water Wing.
- In ESO, I finished up the Deadlands. After that, I learned that there is also a pair of post-Deadlands quests to finish up the Blackwood storyline. With those done, I have only four more quests in my log.
