Week In Gaming
Celebathien
- Gleefully ran through the Lonelands punching, kicking, and throwing mugs of alcohol at goblins, wargs, wolves, and spiders with the Academy. We decided the mugs are either full of Forsaken Ale or goblin grog. Also, I started making up brawler drinking songs I was told I should write the lyrics to. Don’t you tempt me with a good time.
- Opened missions on Caesawerui on Tuesday night in Gundabad. Enabled Sans’s high diving tendencies on the balcony to see if the big horizontal banner would hold her weight. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t and you die. The waterway in Vernozal should also be a water slide. Seriously. And the glow-worms are just as crazy as Leroy Jenkins back at Glow-worm’s Last Stand.
- Delved into the Den of Pughlak with Sans to see the pretty sparkly shinies and colors. Died horribly at the beginning of the final instance versus the toad and couldn’t get back inside. Stupid hypno-toad, anyway. Also, stupid limrafn – why are they “candles,” anyway? Dwarf candles of doom. Is this revenge for hating their little brothers we keep getting for housing items?
Crister
- We need to do some work before T3! Yah you know me! Lofts and Forges was our salve.
- Beating up titans in ESO.
- Civ VI mega super awesome ultra mega hootenanny.
Sanswinda
- Tried to catch another glow-worm’s last stand moment, but failed. I did enter Gundabad on two more alts and fix their LIs though.
- Ran Den of Pughlach with Celebathien, then explored further into Gundabad with Maven and Nitesh.
- Did some world boss hunting in ESO.
Teriadwyn
- Finally unlocked the newest missions, did a couple of daily rounds… and then found out I’ve been skipping the wrapper. Ooops.
- Working through getting the rest of my alts certified for crafting in ESO. Slowly working through the Greenshade story on Teriadwyn.
- Craft the World had an update, so I got sucked back in for the Chinese New Year rewards. Pairs well with the Temple of Five Elements DLC.
Pineleaf
- My main warden ran a couple instances I hadn’t attempted before: The Houses of Lamentation and The Chamber of Shadows.
- My Anor warden learned that in the Beorning lands, orcs like to bait their traps with honey cakes.
- My Landroval warden finally completed the Bloody Threshold raid for quest credit. For Friday Night Fights, we ran the stairs. After that, we attempted Sari-Surma. We couldn’t complete the final battle. The highlight was that after a near wipe against the first boss, I managed to outlast the bear spirit so that we could continue.
