Exploring the Lord of the Rings–On Location travels to Arkenstone this week for the usual 9:30pm Tuesday session. Also on Tuesday: Dwarves Night Out with the White Flames on Laurelin at 2:30pm EDT/7:30pm BST.

Geselliger Plauderabend beim Hobbitischen Brauchtum

Description: Die Treffen des “Verbunds für hobbitisches Brauchtum” sind jedes Mal besonders, finden allerdings nur in jeder zweiten Woche statt. Ab der achten Abendstunde (20.00 Uhr) lädt der Verbund unter der Leitung von Tulpeline dann zu einem Brauchtumsabend ein. Diese finden dann jedoch immer unter einem anderen Thema statt, welches von einem Würfelabend bis zu einem geschichtsreichen Vortrag reichen kann.

Description: Put on your fake beard or a funky hat and join The White Flames on a concert with some jazzy songs. Performing an assortment of music to make your jazz blood boil in your veins, The White Flames will play for around 1,5 hours, and hope you will join them in what’s sure to be a cozy-good time.

Nibbles and Nobs offers an open stage to all performers, while Ales and Tales features a house band and scheduled performers (all are welcome to sign up). Exploring the Lord of the Rings–On Location

Description: A free in-depth reading of the trilogy with the Tolkien Professor which will bring in other works that affected the story and considers new angles and aspects. The course takes place every Tuesday throughout January on a different server each week, followed by a field trip to a relevant site. Go to Discord or Twitch to follow the discussion.

Crickhollow has two exciting events coming up. April 20th is the 3rd Annual Muddy Foot Day, a celebration of the different pipeweeds grown in the Shire. This year’s selections include the signature Muddy Foot along with some Old Toby and homemade Honey Brew beers. The Misty Mountain Hobs and the Mithril Moon Band will provide the entertainment. It starts at 8pm at the Party Tree in Hobbiton.
Pontin of Second Breakfast hosts The Great Race Across Middle-earth, a war-steed race from Michel Delving to the Black Gate on April 23rd at 1pm. It will be a long race with many dangers, but the prizes will include 3000 gold and a pile of LOTRO Points. Please visit the LOTRO Forums for more details.

The Spring Festival was extended and runs from now through 3am EDT on April 10th. Fibro Jedi has a great rundown on the basics, including a hedge maze map and video.
