The future of this post:
I’ve been so glad to publish this list of events every week for the past 15 months. I’d like to continue sharing this list of events, but some changes may be necessary. It takes hours every week to aggregate this list from a host of different sources, make sure everything is posted both here and on two different Google calendars, and then copy and paste the regular events. Some concerts will take place every two weeks, some every third Sunday, others alternate servers–if I don’t spend time triple checking every single activity something will fall through the cracks. Unfortunately, I was very short on time last week and listed one concert that was not taking place that week and incorrectly displayed an end time that is earlier than it truly is for another. These errors were corrected thanks to reports from two vigilant readers, but there is currently a lag time between my making the correction here and the update registering on the post. This is beyond our control and I don’t know when this will change, but it means that the corrections did not show up until it was too late.
I know that people rely on accuracy when attending and scheduling events, and I would like to apologise for these mistakes. Because my schedule has gotten tighter of late I worry that I will continue to make these errors. So I’ve decided to try something different this week: I will be featuring one or two special events for each day, but the others will just be listed on the community and server calendars. I will try to update those calendars more often and will use this post to highlight a variety of events from around the servers.

This listing is only updated on Fridays, but our community calendar is kept up to date throughout the week. Take a look at the Google calendar to keep up to date on all upcoming events around LOTRO and copy some or all events to your personal calendar. You may add events or post corrections in the comments section, but the fastest and best way to get it on this page and on the calendar is to submit a form.

Nibbles and Nobs offers an open stage to all performers, while Ales and Tales features a house band and scheduled performers (all are welcome to sign up). Description: The band performs the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month on Landroval. They hold concerts on Brandywine the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.

Exploring the Lord of the Rings–On Location
Server: Brandywine
Time: 9:30pm
Location: Lore Hall across from the Cat Lady’s House, Bree
Description: A free in-depth reading of the trilogy with the Tolkien Professor which will bring in other works that impacted the story and considers new angles and aspects. The course takes place every Tuesday throughout January on a different server each week, and is followed by a field trip to a relevant location. Go to Discord or Twitch to follow the discussion.

Description: Midweek Tunes and Ales is a weekly event every Wednesday at 10:30pm and 11:00am servertime. It’s always in a different place each week, we could be at Weathertop or Rivendell, maybe even the depths of Moria, playing music throughout Middle Earth! We welcome all travelers who are passing through to join if like to share a tune, story, or just dance!

Celebrate your Precious by joining the Purple Pipeweed Parlor Band for My Precious Valentine on February 14th in Bree Park. The show will take place on Landroval at 7pm and on Crickhollow at 8:30pm.
The line of Strongbeard pledges its younger daughter, Thrandili, in marriage to Byli, firstborn son of the line of Brokenspear, in accordance with the zarb contracted between the families. Dress is ceremonial and only dwarves are welcome at the ceremony at 2:30pm EST at the Spire of Brandfell. Request the honour of your presence at The Bear & Barrel Inn, 2 Highspires Street Brandfell on the 12th of February at 3:00 EST on Laurelin, for an evening of feasting, merriment and music from The Remediators. All are welcome at the feast.
