The rocking dwarves of the Rolling Kegs present Music from the Mithril Screen, a night of songs from movies and TV, at 3pm on Saturday, November 19th on Laurelin. They will perform inside the Greenhouse at Thorin’s Gate, found at 13.8S, 103.0W.
Thursday is Thanksgiving in the US, so don’t be surprised if some events do not go ahead as planned over the long weekend. We’ll try to keep up with any announced cancellations.

There will be two major events starting at noon EST next Saturday, November 26th. On Landroval they celebrate the 5th Anniversary of The Hope, a band that had to give up their home on the Russian servers and found many new friends on Landroval and beyond. Several of those friends will join them for this special concert: Bara Bahau, A Rock and a Hard Place, DisEnchanted, The Aleford Band, ARDA, Andune Ensemble, Bilbeto Longburrow & Toadflax Nosely, and POLNOLUNIE.
Belegaer is home to the second annual juggler’s night (Gauklernacht). The event includes juggling, theater, riddle hunts, fighting, strong man contests, hobbit races, raffles, and plenty of music. Musicians for the event are Notenzauber, Frische Brise, Little To No Drama, and the Aleford Band. Die Bunten Vögel and Mondbarden will handle the afterparty. Last week we mentioned the Skarn will be playing for November OAKs. This concert has now been moved to December 3rd.
Turning a negative into a positive:
The Dampdale Cartography Society, a shared Landroval kinhouse used by hundreds of players for RP and sharing purposes over the last three years, was robbed of all the items in their chest and nearly all of their decorations. The grinch responsible even stripped the walls of its paint! But the LOTRO community won’t take that sort of thing lying down. Once word spread the donations started rolling in, and Bluejay came up with the idea to put these items back into place with a grand scavenger hunt around the entire Dampdale neighborhood.
The date and details are still to be announced. Check the thread on the Landroval forums to find out more or voice your support. A list of what needs to be replaced will be posted soon (please hold off on donations until then so that they don’t end up with any more duplicates).
In times of strife we see the true character of our community. Time and again, we’ve shown that our player base has a very big heart. We’ve also proven that we never pass up a good excuse for a party. We’ll have more details about this particular party for you soon.
