This week’s featured events:
The fifth annual Farmer Pierson’s Harvest Party is coming to Landroval this Saturday from 9pm-midnight at the Prancing Pony stables. Animal House will perform for the gathering and there will be door prizes throughout the night. There will be two costume contests: dress like your pet and scariest costume. There is also a prize for best scary short story. The tales must be original and setting must be in Middle-earth.
All elves are welcome at Mereth Iavas – Feast of Autumn on Laurelin this Thursday, October 27th at 3:30pm EDT (server). Come celebrate the harvest in an atmosphere keeping with the traditions of Tolkien’s elves, sharing food, fine wines, and company. All players are asked to come with an elven character and asked to bring something to the pot-luck feast. The gathering is found up the staircase in front of the Celondim stables, as pictured below (specific location 27.9S, 92.2W).

The lineup has been finalized for Horrorfest, running on Landroval October 28th and 29th.
Several bands will be performing special Halloween themed shows. On Landroval, the Eriador Music Society will move their weekly Thursday 10:30pm show up to the hill above Bag End, north of the Party Tree near Hobbiton. The White Flames on Laurelin and the Purple Pipeweed Parlor Band on Crickhollow will also have special performances which will be detailed in next week’s Halloween special edition. We will also provide more details about Crickhollow’s Haunted Hill.
