LOTRO Steely Dawn Starter Pack Giveaway

LOTRO Players has received 5 LOTRO Steely Dawn Starter Pack codes to give away.  These codes do come with a request that the code recipients are not VIP and have a character level 25 or higher.  This is a first come, first serve style giveaway.  Enter the codes into Steam to see if they are still available.

To apply the codes to your account:

1. Create a Steam account if you don’t already have one. 
2. Start the installation of LOTRO in Steam even if you already have the regular LOTRO installation.  You don’t have to complete the installation, just pause it when it starts downloading
3. In Steam, go to the games menu
4. Click on activate or redeem a Steam key
5. Follow prompts and enter the key code
6. It will indicate that you have redeemed the Steely Dawn Starter Pack
7. Go back to your games library
8. On the left select The Lord of the Rings Online and click on it
9. Once selected look on right side menu for the text that says CD Key, click it, it will bring up a menu
10. Select the Steely Dawn pack when it is highlighted, use the button to copy key to clipboard, or write down the product code
11. Then go to the in-game LOTRO store
12. Go to redeem code at the top
13. Enter the code and use the apply button
