We use numbers here as notes for example and neighbouring country use them too but highest number is best note here and their best note is lowest number
So it could be good idea to specify which note is best for the future…

Although from movies I know this way of grading, we use 1-10 also (1 worst, 10 best), and I totally agree with you Marmi
