As a dwarf, I am not the most cunning linguist, so the early part of your Bonus Material podcast was passed in haze of ale, However, a shout out to your co-host who raised the specter of Tom Lehrer, an accomplished Pianist and Satirist in equal proportion whom was the master of a somewhat lost art that I was exposed to by my parents friends 33 RPM album collections in my youth. Some of my favorites of his offerings include: The Masochism Tango, Who’s Next, and Poisoning Pigeons in the Park (Note the use of the Oxford Comma!). As a matter of fact I recently found two of his albums in a musty record store and gifted them to my daughter who has a burgeoning vinyl collection that is the envy of her friends! Cheers! P.S. – Forgot my perhaps my favorite: The Vatican Rag! Refreshingly irreverent to say the least…

Some might find it annoying when you get off topic. If so ignore them, I personally love it. Where else can I get intelligent conversation about Tolkien’s writing (not from my job, wife, or two toddlers).
