This week’s featured events:
Crickhollow welcomes all brave enough to attempt the sixth annual Bullroarer Took Day Pub Crawl, starting on Sunday at 12pm EDT. Elevenses in the Bird & Baby will wrap up early to allow for visits to every pub in the Shire, with time for ale, tunes, and contests at each stop. The group will rush over to Hobbiton’s Ivy Bush for a cosmetic contest judged by Nathrien of Material Middle Earth and Gloredh of Wandering around Arda. The Breakfast Club will perform festive music throughout the competition.
Next everyone will amble over to Brockenborings for a brew-a-thon at the Plough and Stars. Cooks are invited to prepare their finest brew and food pairing for a panel of judges. Contestants decide whether to come prepared or use the crafting facilities along the way, but the best way to sway the judges is with a flashy presentation. The crawl’s next stop is at the Golden Perch in Stock where the pub trivia master will be crowned. They then scoot over to the Floating Log in Frogmorton for a scavenger hunt.
Any survivors will make their way to the afterparty in Hobbiton’s Green Dragon, where they’ll celebrate the completion of our pub crawl with music and dancing.
The Day on the Greenfields Music Festival makes its triumphant return to Landroval this weekend. The festival runs from 1pm EDT-7pm EDT on Friday and noon-midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday features the Music of Middle-earth on Saturday from 6pm-9pm, a special four band mini-concert consisting of Lord of the Rings specific music, such as songs from the films and ones inspired by the books.
The Greenfields are north of Brockenborings in the Shire. Head to the stage at 27.2S, 67.0W. Find out more about the concert on LOTRO Artists.
All events are listed in Eastern Daylight Time (-4 GMT)/server time, but an additional time zone is listed for EU server events. Please note that Europe does not switch their clocks until March 27, so the current offset between US and UK time is 4 hours instead of 5.
