Acorne Oakley started the monthly OAKS (Oldfurlong Amazin Koncert Series) on Laurelin back in 2014. The series has featured many grand performers, and this month is no exception as they welcome the bearded dwarven lasses of Die Bärtigen Musen. Head over to the town square of the Oldfurlong neighbourhood of the Shire homesteads at 8 bells in the evening (that is, 3pm EST/21:00 CET) on Monday the 25th to hear this popular Belegaer band play abroad.
All events are listed in Eastern Standard Time (-5 GMT)/server time, but an additional time zone is listed for EU server events. You may add events or post corrections in the comments section, but the fastest and best way to get it on this page is to submit a form. The Mythgard kinship brings the education and social missions of Signum University’s Mythgard Institute to LOTRO. Joining the members for Mythgard Adventures is the next best thing to working on your M.A. The next Mythgard Adventure will take place on February 2nd at 9:30pm EST on the Landroval server. Corey Olsen (aka The Tolkien Professor) gives a brief lore talk via webinar and then it is time to join together for group play. If you can’t get enough of the Tolkien Professor, check out other adventures of Mythgard in Middle-earth every Friday at 12:30pm on Lotro Stream. Server issues meant that there was no episode, but Gryfflet’s January 8th journey to Tinnudir is available.
Looking back:
Winterstock III was hit hard by last-minute scheduled maintenance, login issues, griefers, layer issues, and the threat of lag, but the show went on! Congratulations to the organisers and all the bands for keeping their cool throughout and pulling off a fantastic festival. The game went down not once but twice during planned performances from the Hope, but the third time was a charm and they made the best of the bad situation to put on a wonderful performance.
