The release notes for Update 15.3 are available on the forums. As expected, this update has addressed the music system, but there were some other fixes included as well. Two of the more significant changes that caught my eye were the following:
- The OSX Launcher will no longer download all the splash screens every time you start it. It does make an HTTP request for each splash screen to see if you have the most recent one on disk each time.
- Morskor in Barad Guldur will no longer become invisible every time he takes flight.

Hurray and Hurray! The dloading of multiple splash screens is a thing of the past 🙂
The patch also created several problems, most significantly removing The Grand Stairs instance, as well as the skirmishes The Icy Crevasse and Assault on Tal Mathedras. As of yet, Turbine have failed to acknowledge this, but they are all missing from the instance finder.
I think the GMs locked them due to new bugs, but since Turbine had a company meeting today, no official word came down, maybe tomorrow.
I have to be really stupid, cause I can’t understand how such small update could cause bugs in 2 very old skirms and one even older instance…
And there is also bug in at least one BB… It ruins one of quests at Dike. What the hell Turbine was doing with all these places?
BB Dike 6 man quest: flames at the gate is also bugged… Middle cata is reseting when come to gate…
Its a great game but why can’t sony or microsoft or someone good at games buy lotro honestly im sick of the lag and the bugs.
