On my last visit to the Elrond’s Last Homely House in Rivendell, I noticed that our favorite stationary elf was standing on a rather disheveled floor tile. After applying a blowtorch to Elrond’s soles and prying his immobile body from the locked position (he’s fine, other than experiencing some movement sickness), I removed the tile and made a discovery possibly greater than the One Ring. Underneath that floorboard were several rejected LOTRO movie posters.
Even with the request by the elves to never share these posters, I figured what’s the worst they can do? It’s not like they can stay alive to torture me for the next several hundred years…right? RIGHT?
Below are six rejected projects that never quite made it to the big screen. Click on any poster to view the full-size image.

ALTerations is a working title for a series that I may or may not mess around with at random times, in which I get to have a little fun playing around with various LOTRO bits and bobs in GIMP (image editor…basically the poor man’s Photoshop). I certainly don’t mind attempting to display a little humor for means of entertainment, even at the expense of book/game/movie lore. It’s all in good fun, really.
Your turn! What rejected LOTRO movie titles/posters can you come up with? Share below!
How about “One flew over the fire salamander nest” outside of Harwick.
Middle Earth’s laziest elf stars in “The Big Elrondski”
It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World staring Rook
“The good the bad and The Man” staring Gimli, Legolas, and Aragorn
“Saving Sahra Oakheart” It’s a really slow movie
“The Mirror” staring Galadriel
“Airheads” staring the Grey Company, AKA the Lone Rangers
Decided to whip up another poster featuring one of your titles, cheers! 🙂
“Twelve angry dwarves” (because Thorin was late)
Heh, these are all great! I know who to come to when it comes time to make some of these movies…
Nice!
The rug is a nice touch, it really ties the room together
Merry and Pip’s excellent adventure
