I feel like I can never recommend Eregion as a zone enough. Although the quests there are pretty simple (Kill 10 x, Defeat Signature Mob Y, etc) I just love questing there. I think part of it is just that it’s simple to go from one hub to the next killing and gathering and moving on. The travel times between quest hubs and quest action areas (where you do the killing and gathering) are quite short so you’re not spending ages running back and forth. Combined with the gorgeous scenery and color palette of the zone, it’s just a very pleasant place to quest through. Since I just started questing there on my Lore-master I decided to make an outfit dedicated to the zone. The burgundy of the shoulders and cloak match the deep reds of the holly trees found throughout the zone. The ranger green and gold dyes of the leggings and chestpiece match the muted color of the grasses in the region as well. I also love the idea of a lore-master going through Eregion searching for any remaining relics from when Eregion was a prosperous region and home to the finest craftsmen.

I too like Eregion as it has a sense of serenity, even though it was destroyed and abandoned. The quest stories there are pretty powerful though I wished vol II was started elsewhere in Eregion other than Hollin Gate.
