Just in case one may be overloaded with marks and medallions (Epic Battles seem to drop them at a pretty nice rate, or just skirmishing if that’s your thing), the equivalent of buying a 5000 rep accelerator in the store (188TP this week) would be getting 5x 1k accelerators from the skirmish camp, for 570 marks and 60 medallions.
Now if only LI slots were an account-wise purchase…with the ability to now switch your spec on the fly, more players may now possibly be more persuaded to have more than one spec ready to go, and with that may come a higher demand for LI slot space.
Thanks for the tip! I think the price was lowered after Helm’s Deep though; I bought the Small Reputation Acceleration Tome from the skirmish camp for 114 Marks and 12 Medallions. I bought 25 of them. :-p
I would be most tempted by the rep item. I have my eye on a dress and a dog for my tp… At this rate I will never get my class steed!
Personally i think the best deal in there is the legacy tier upgrade, Empowerment scrolls(lvl95 anyways) are pretty expensive in the camp. Reputation items are fairly cheap though as zyngor said.
That’s of course only if you want to build a perfect/close to perfect LI.
And yes i would probably buy the LI slots if they were account wide, my main guard i don’t really play anymore(please allow server transfers from EU to US!:P) has a full set of them and they are pretty much wasted now.
Seems clear enough to me. LIs suck; therefore sales for LI items suck.
I’m tempted by the LI slots, but since they are per-character instead of account-wide, I won’t be buying them. I don’t have a huge problem with the LI system (it could certainly be better). Maybe Turbine will clean it up in 2014?
Having reached LI territory I was surprised to find them so UNlegendary …early days lv60 and lv55 LI sporting chars and I am constantly annoyed by the constant need to replace…upgrade…ad infinitum
Their bonuses though makes than a necessary evil…thought for the day playing WITHOUT LI maybe a little more challenging…erm…well…maybe not…
