Earlier this week Sapience posted the preliminary notes for Patch 12.2, which has as of this writing been uploaded to the Bullroarer test server for.. testing. There are a goodly amount of changes and fixes with this patch, so instead of listing the whole thing I’ll pick out the most notable and interesting changes(to me) and put them below(Italics are my own thoughts):
- Macroing issues(a particular problem in the moors) have been resolved
- Class trait Quickslots will now save and restore your setups better/more reliably
- Landscape mobs have had their HP ‘adjusted’. Mobs in the 30-50 range will be tougher.(unsure how the rest have changed, if at all) Mobs will also hit faster than before
- Stack sizes for Hobby and Crafting barter items have been removed(unsure exactly what items this includes)
- Rating caps for Block and Evade have been bumped up, while Parry has been bumped down
- Creep morale pots now heal as a percentage of Max Morale, ranging from 5% to 45%
- Creep regens(in and out of combat) have been buffed
- Freeps now have their level 95 PvP Ring sets
As per usual, these are completely and utterly subject to change. So no complaining if these end up different on their way to the Live servers, y’hear?

“Addressing “Macroing” issues
Certain classes were able to cause some skills to ignore their cooldowns, causing a situation where those skills could be used repeatedly and rapidly on their target. This has been resolved.”

Just glad that many of the big battle bugs are set to be fixed. Missed out on Glimmering Caves 3-man overall plat twice recently because of bugs in quests.
Also glad to hear that guard response skill schizophrenia is being addressed as it was making tanking a lot more aggravating.
I wish they would remove stack size limits. Everything that’s stackable, should be able to have an infinite stack. This would especially help with festival consumables; you need 300 of each to complete a deed. It seems like Turbine is moving in the right direction. 🙂
