Fantastic News! Rick Heaton, Community Manager of LOTRO, has been kind enough to give us 1000 codes for a new title! These will be issued to players who attend our events. If you would like a very special Fellowship Walk 2013 title, you will need join us as we walk in the footsteps of Frodo Baggins.
The Title: “The Unexpected Traveler”.
To get your code all you have to do is send an email to Fellowshipwalk@gmail.com. Please include The Unexpected Traveler in the subject line. The codes will be awarded to those who can give a good anecdote of Frodo’s Birthday Party, or make mention of any special event that happened during our walking sessions. All your characters on your account will be awarded this title on log in, we tried and tested it!
Edited to ask folks to include their characters names in the email, this helps speed up the process in the admin office!

I would like everyone to be aware that these codes are hand issued by LOTROPlayers.com staff. The codes may take a while to arrive. We would also appreciate a note letting us know that your codes have redeemed successfully.

We leave BagEnd Tonight (Monday Sept 23rd) at 7pm EST/Server Time
So if we are not on Landroval then we are out of luck? Would love this on Dwarrowdelf where my characters are.
I began on Windfola and created a visiting character for events on Landroval. I now also have visiting characters on Laurelin and Dwarrowdelf too. Common, you could do the intro by saturday then come walk a small way with us, then send me a polite email) Job done! It’s a nice title 🙂

if you talking about the title, it will work on any server on any character.. you add it to your turbine account in the my account turbine site… all you chars over all servers will have access to it…
Create yourself an alt on Landy.. there is a kinship called “Visitor From Another Server” that is made for people that only have chars for events on Landy. We have security killing all the baddies keeping everyone safe and sound as we walk…

Any chance for an earlier walk during weekend? I can’t participate so late this year and I would be quite sad to miss such an occasion!
Yes we had to begin on the 22nd as that is the date Frodo left Bag End. All the other regular walks are at a time when we felt most reasonable for the majority of players. We know it will not suit everyone and for this we are sorry:(
Any chance of an earlier start time for a future part of the walk? Thinking about rolling a low level if title is transferable among characters/servers.

Right, and since it’s account wide and works on all the servers a player is on, when visitors do go back to their home server, with this unexpected title, it will be pretty rare indeed 🙂
