Come join the fun!
In approximately 14 days, we will begin our journey through Eriador. It will see us leave Bag End in the Shire and set out West. Our first tentative steps will be nerve wracking, but as our confidence builds (and our total funds for Child’s Play grow), we will eventually find ourselves in Rivendell.
The journey will be long. The journey will be arduous. The journey will be fun!
The map below shows the first glimpses our total trek from the start to the end. However, please note, that if we raise more than our $5000 goal, we may find ourselves trekking beyond Rivendell. Wouldn’t it be great if we found ourselves at the Gates of Moria? A more detailed look at our journey will follow shortly. Until then, keep your walking shoes nearby and… Have fun!

At what time is the walk scheduled?
Frodo’s Party is scheduled for 2pm on 22 September, 2013 with the first leg of the Walk being held on Monday, 23 September at 7pm.
Both events are Landroval Server Time 🙂
A full schedule of the Fellowship Walk will be released shortly. 🙂

Great! So I’ll be able to attend both the walk and the event by Les Beaux Chapeaux at 10 pm that Sunday. Which will feature Fionah and friends, members of FEET!
Well I’ll have to scratch that last reply of mine as I learned the party goes on all through the evening so I’ll have to postpone the event featuring Fionah to some future Sunday as it is of no use to split crowds. I heard that namely Animal House and Bright Star will be performing that evening also in Rivendell and I would rather be there to that event than try to have something worth mentioning at the same time. I’ll see you all there!

You are absolutely correct. Frodo though did head west first before taking a more southernly route. He wanted to avoid the town of Hobbiton and all the nosey townsfolk.
We are doing the same. You know what it is like trying avoid those nosey hobbits. 😀
