Not too much news this week but there were promises of news coming soon! First of all 11.2 is coming out tomorrow (which we already knew).
The next round of twenty questions is coming out soon about instances at Helm’s Deep.
Also next week they are planning to release major information on the forum revamp. At the end there is a promise of lotteries coming soon after the revamp.
It is exciting to know that news is just around the corner but this diary really didn’t tell us anything, it simply said we will know more soon.
Is it sad that currently the thing I am most excited for is *working* forums?
HD is going to be great but I agree that the forums actually (hopefully) working is much better!
HD is still too far away for me to really be excited about it.
For most expansions I would agree…but I mean…it is HD!
I am not happy that we’re losing the lorebook. I stay away from the forums for the most part because there’s so many immature posters there ranting about this or that. It’s not a positive atmosphere.

The lorebook going away is indeed sad.
I still find lots of fun and value in the forums despite the trolls.
Sadly, this will also be the end of mylotro, where a wonderful community of writers and bloggers once shared their gifts amongst one another. It was the Scribes of the Ages there that inspired me to write, and I am very grateful for places like LOTRO Players, and MME for giving us a new home to go to!
