Thanks for all the kind words about Murder in Bree! I hope to do another short film sometime over the summer…when I have more time.
Loved the double feature and really enjoy hearing the easy chit-chat between all the hosts. Looking forward to next week.
enjoying your pod cast alway feels like I’m at the local cafe with good company discussions the topics of the day at with a cup of coffee/tea/beer or BYO and friends.
Watched the short film, very nice and enjoyable , its like watching a lotro blockbuster featuring celebrities from the lotro community. looking forward other project for thecommunity to enjoy.
“You could ride the bear.”
The fact that this has not happened and that I can’t have a wargoat is a huge knock against mounted combat.
Speaking of which, Rohan uses up more resources than the rest of the areas in the game. The way they coded it makes it resource-intensive and it pushes memory especially. Many people had crashing issues when it came out and when it was on BR before release. So speeding around on a warsteed combined with that can cause the rubberbanding.
Great work on Murder – it was enjoyable, Angang. 🙂
I’m still confused about Tinkerbell. Is she also a jeweler? She is a tinker, after all…she can probably do good precision work, but it must take ages to fully craft a ring!
Whether it be topic-driven or off-topic, it doesn’t matter either way to me. LOTRO is LOTRO, which is probably a reason I won’t bother applying for the Council…I’m too easy to please, and I rarely have negative experiences with the game, or I can easily work around any issues until they are resolved. Thus, I don’t think I’d have much to add to a player’s council, and I’d feel like I would be milking it for the perks (points, early access, etc).
I meant to post “Andang and gang,” but I supppose I shortened that bit rather well.
Loved the off topic conversation. It actually convinced me to listen to the Trollshaws episode, which I was going to skip because of my negative impression of that area.
Branick, I was very impressed when you said that Crusader Kings was the first game you installed after rebuilding you PC. I know you are a serious gamer, but I had always assumed that there were few people who played both MMOs and in-depth strategy. I am a big Paradox fan, and have been playing their games since Europa Universalis I.
I enjoy listening to you all just chat about LOTRO and usually pick up some interesting information about the game. That said, when you do an episode on a specific topic, it can be frustrating to have to wait for 30 minutes of “what you did in LOTRO” before you get to the advertised topic. While I enjoy hearing about your experiences in-game and about the game in general, I kinda wish there were two links for the episodes: one for the chitchat and one for the main topic without the prelude (maybe a link that jumps right to the main topic part of the episode). That way if I’m going back to hear your advice on something that was recorded a year ago, I can cut right to the chase. Thanks for all your time and effort in putting these together!
