I like the idea of doing different format shows along with occasional more traditional topic shows. I think it would be helpful to either title or catalog the different show types to make it easier for people coming to the show later to find the instructional ones.
For the new conversational shows (see, I didn’t call it ‘rambling’!) you could include extra sections not in the traditional shows. Ideas that spring to mind are Tolkien lore; game tips & tricks; interesting web sites; in-game events. Possibly you could do some interviews with other LOTRO podcasters.
I’m looking forward to hearing new shows, and I’ll see you in game!
Yeh, sometimes random is golden – you never know where the topic (or lack of one) could lead, and keeps the listeners tuned in eagerly.
Indy makes a good idea of marking the specific-topic ones so that “students” could find what they are looking for in the archives…perhaps mark them as “lessons” or “classes”, Academy and all?
Oh, and Mysteri can not only read minds, but she can also use her Knowledge of the Lore-master to deduce your exact weaknesses. Beware!
