Week In LOTRO

Aerindys

  • Was a part of the GrrlzOfMiddleEarth rejects stream after last week’s show
  • Went warging – Rinstalker reached rank 5
  • More warging (Happy Birthday Cyndars!)

Celebathien

  • My warg Khillien ran the Moors and got to rank 5. Baby warg isn’t as much of a baby now! Sniff.
  • I ran Khelevorn through the Carn Dum instance to emote at Helchgam — and forgot to do it because I got into beating the boss too much. Have to redo it now and UGH, Carn Dum….
  • Got the Reminiscing Dragon mount, etc., with Celebathien after completing the 10th card in the anniversary quests. Finally! Only took me 2-3 years!

Gwaerendes

  • Epic Sunday was epic: Angmar RTs, Mordor questing, firestarting at the Festival, Mordor questing again
  • Scavenger Hunting with Sans (with a hilarious moment)
  • A-warging I went…Happy birthday Cyndars

Sanswinda

  • Much festivaling was accomplished. No /toast emote yet though…
  • My warg nommed many things on the Moors and enjoyed howling at the moon.
  • Took an aria’d burg to Felegoth with the field trip.

Teriadwyn

  • Teriadwyn finally finished out Minas Morgul. Still way too much lag in the city, hopefully there won’t be so much going back to see the bears…
  • Saryssa is working through the Anniversary Scavenger Hunt as a solo burg. 5-minute cooldowns on travel skills is still the best purchase I ever made.
  • Nommed some things in the Moors, but the PvE quests provide more infamy than hunting freeps… (still not rank 8).

Pineleaf

  • My Anor warden woke some ents in the Eaves of Fangorn.
  • For Friday Night Fights, we ran Bells of Dale, Defence of the Prancing Pony, Breaching the Necromancer’s Gate. I gained three Star-Lit crystals during the skirmishes. We wanted to battle the Nazgul but I had never faced the Nazgûl scourges.
  • Participated in the Saturday Roving Threat hunt. There we faced the Roving Threats in Gondor then headed into Besieged Mordor to deal with those Nazgûl.

Greetings Lotro Players Podcast,

I have recently returned to Lotro after a looooong break. Like, just after Moria came out. I have rolled a Beorning because it is the only class I have not played. Of  course, after this long, all the classes will seem new. I am really enjoying the class and enjoying being back in Lotro.

When I returned to Lotro, I started looking for podcasts to listen to. I first started listening to Lotro Academy and I really enjoy that  podcast even though it is outdated. I started listening to your podcast  because I wanted something current to listen to as well.  Imagine my surprise to hear Pineleaf from Lotro Academy on Lotro Players! I was very happy to hear a familiar voice on this podcast.

I am sorry, I am still learning everyone else’s voice and names. It  will take me a few episodes to get them right.

Thank you all for doing this podcast. I look forward to it every week!

With good cheer to all ,

Roger
