Critters Journey [65] Volcanos and smoke signals mix too well
New Player Question (Submitted by Cyndars)
My son was wondering about the read emote. Lotro-wiki says it shows up under the command /help since January 2016 but no further information was known (it does show up as an emote that way currently, I checked) and in game it says “you aren’t able to use the read emote… yet…” but it doesn’t show up in the emote panel or store. How do you earn it?

Aerindys
- I wasn’t able to play any this week, but I did do a LOTR marathon!
Sanswinda
- Helped defeat Fingar the Greedy for the first time!
- Finished skirmishing in Moria with my dwarf, who may be content to hang out in the 21st hall for awhile.
- Worked on very important epic quests on the field trip–and demolished a very important Sambrog twice before Tom Bombadil showed up to give us a hard time.
Teriadwyn
- Axli Shingshing has abandoned the shing temporarily to work on some crafting.
- Grrlz of Middle-earth got lost in the Old Forest.
- Picked up my Arkenstone Burglar to do some more creeping around in Moria.
Pineleaf
- My Evernight warden found some lost dwarves, killed enough spiders to find an easier way to the Shire, and assaulted the Ringwraiths’ Lair.
- My Gladden Lore-master found a group of quests in Zelem-melek that I forgot existed.
- My Landroval hunter dealt with some unfinished business in Eregion.
