Crickhollow’s Second Breakfast presents The Rally in Khazad-dûm, a puzzle race through Moria this Saturday, May 14th at 2pm EDT/server time. This annual tradition has previously taken participants through the Shire, Bree, and Ered Luin, but this time the race adds the danger of falling from great heights and getting helplessly lost in the mines. The Rally will start at the Western Gate of the 21st Hall and take riders all around Moria.
The organizers recommend a minimum level of 65 so that participants don’t have to worry about any aggro, but lower level players may join at their own risk. Speedy goats are permitted.
Four clues will be read out at the start of the race to find the first lost explorer. Riders can choose which clue to follow, and they will then get a clue and a trade item from each lost explorer they find. The rally organizer, Dallofin, will go over the rules on the custom channel beforehand, so be sure to /joinchannel event. Anyone who needs a ride or summons to 21st Hall should call out on this channel.
The winner will receive 1550 Turbine Points, 30 Anfalas Scrolls of Empowerment, and 100 gold. Second place receives one Anfalas Crystal of Remembrance, an Anfalas Star-Lit Crystal, and 50 gold. Third place gets a blemished symbol of Celebrimbor and 20 goal. And don’t worry if you’re not one of the top 3–everyone has the chance to win a prize for submitting their excuse for getting lost.
