    Not all of these are as bad as you make them out to be. Although Scrolls of Empowerment etc. are also available in-game, the ONLY way to unlock LI slots 7-10 is through the store. For some classes, especially those with several different builds (solo versus group, mainly), those extra slots can make your class abilities much more powerful and/or used more often. I unlocked all ten LI slots on my main character (a guardian), and I use every single one of them.
