This week’s highlight events:
This week we feature three Yule events from three different servers. The great news is that the schedule works out perfectly–the most intrepid travelers won’t have to miss a moment!
Crickhollow hosts Winterfest, a 2 day music event featuring a dozen bands playing their best Yuletide songs plus a few surprises. The music scene on the server has exploded since Shirefest, so come and dance to new bands, bands that have just moved to Crickhollow, and ones you already know and love. The show will take place at Thorin’s Gate in the fields to the southeast of Thorin’s Hall. Friday features Breakfast Club, DisEnchanted, and Misty Mountain Hobs starting at 8pm EST. On Saturday from noon-4pm Winterfest will welcome Struck by Moonlight, Little Wanderers, Dulcet Tones, Fraggle Rock, Lollipops, A Rock and a Hard Place, Lag Spike, and Bunny Patrol.
On Landroval the Parade of Lights will start with welcoming music at the Prancing Pony stage at 4:45pm EST on Saturday, December 12th. All attendees will light their lanterns at 5pm and make their way down to the Windy Acres Ranch at 9 Chestnut Street, Raglan, Bree-land homesteads. Once the group arrives it will be time for music from the Remediators and contests for Snow Lord or Lady and the Spirit of Yule fashion show. In total, 7000 TP will be given away during the event. The night will finish with Yule themed stories and an open mic for anyone who would like to share Yule music or tales.
Laurelin’s Grand Order of the Lost Mathom invites their fellow hobbits to Songburrow Hall, located at 4 Brookbank Street in the Songburrow neighbourhood of the Shire homesteads this Sunday, December 13th at 2pm EST/7pm UK time for Yule Tree and Mathom Night. They’ll put up their tree, have some mulled wine, and enjoy Yule music together. Afterwards everyone is invited inside to look at the mathoms on display and show off their own objects for comments and value appraisal.
All events are listed in Eastern Standard Time (-5 GMT)/server time, but an additional time zone is listed for EU server events.
