Dress to Impress – The Inn Keepers Dress.

Hi Everyone,

I make this series one week ahead and usually publish them first to my blog.

However this dress is on sale this week! So now it’s time for another Dress to Impress!

Welcome to the fourth instalment of Dress to Impress. A series of articles about the cosmetic dress options in Lord of the Rings Online.

In this episode I have been assisted by Lizzyrose.

Today we look at a the Inn Keepers Dress.

Available from the LOTRO Store. The cost of this item is 295 Turbine Points or TP. This week (21st-27th Aug 2014) there is a sale in the cosmetic department of the LOTRO Store and you can buy this dress for 192 TP.

This item is Bound to Account. This item is dyeable and characters of all levels can cosmetically wear this item.

Here is the Inn Keepers dress in it’s default colour (white) I like the fact this white is “whiter” than other cosmetic dresses but it still looks a bit grubby.

Here we can see the dyeable portions of this garment. I like the back view, the lines are very clean. Although the skirt and sleeves dye the colour does have a washed look. The colours do look faded although if it is a working lasses dress I would think it gets washed often.

All the colours! (Click for larger view)

Lizzy and I chose our favourite dyes, added accessories then went to find somewhere nice for a screen shot.

I chose the dress dyed Rivendell Green, Matching the dress with my Harvest-brew circlet, my Bullroarers Tankard and a Wood-lily.

Lizzyrose liked her dress dyed Yellow. She opted for a scene with fellow musical Hobbits! Anything to get out of the washing up!

That’s all for today – See you soon on another Dress to Impress!

On the next Dress to Impress I will be looking at the Gossamer Dress available from the skirmish vendor.
